Populate test files with uniformly adjusted dates in seconds. The Data Ager saves hours of test file preparation time. Data Ager quickly adjusts, forward or backward, all or a portion of, a files date fields. Data Ager insures that your test files are populated with accurate dates. The Data Ager has two steps. First, using Data Ager to view the file definition (Copy Book, ++Include, etc.), quickly identify and store the location and format of the date fields that are to be changed. Then simply tell the Data Ager your future test date and let the Data Ager quickly create a properly aged file for your test. Date location and format definition parameters are created only once and saved for future executions.

DCS assists operations by providing a fully automated alternative to the error-prone manual process of setting up jobs with date cards. DCS also speeds programming and guarantees accuracy by providing access to numerous complex date calculation and conversion routines, including those utilizing user-defined fiscal and holiday calendars, saving hours of redundant coding and testing.

DMS is a comprehensive collection of tools that help you manage your mainframe disk storage environment and is an invaluable add-on to your IBM HSM implementation. Among the various components, DMS includes HASP (a migration management tool), AHAB (an auto-backup validation tool), VSAM reorganization and tuning utilities and disk-to-catalog synchronization utilities.
|
||
HASP is a valuable tool for the z/OS storage administrator, permitting you to easily identify which disk files are not getting migrated by IBM’s HSM (Hierarchical Storage Manager) and optionally define actions for handling these files dynamically.
If you are looking for a way to reduce DASD storage at your site, DCMS/HASP may be the answer.

H/SIS is an extremely flexible and comprehensive information management system that documents and manages a company's hardware and software assets. The H/SIS database includes financial, vendor, technical, physical/logical configuration, administrative, and contractual details.

Create test JCL and fresh test files from their corresponding production versions in seconds. JAT provides significant reductions in the time and labor associated with Application System Testing setup. Interactively define and save your test file naming standards and test JCL standards. Then anytime you need test JCL or fresh test files simply tell JAT the member name of the production JOB you are planning to test. JAT will then examine the production JOB and create renamed copies of the all production files needed for the test and optionally create a complete set of test JCL. JAT can create test files on the same system or prepare the test files for export to another LPAR within the same or remote complex.

JED provides a fully automated JCL management solution for today's z/OS data centers. Complete JCL validation, standards enforcement, reformatting, syntax checking, maintenance, conversions and tuning are now possible, automatically! JED can be executed interactively during an ISPF edit session or in batch mode while validating or changing multiple JCL members. JED can also be executed as part of an automated production change implementation process. The JED Remote Server Facility enables developers, as well as automated change control systems, working from a test LPAR/image, to accurately validate pre-production JCL that will later be executed on a different LPAR/image when DASD is not shared between the two images.
JED includes a license for XREF (See below). |
KEYS is provided free to all DCMS customers. KEYS is an ISPF dialog that provides a single point of control for managing the license keys of all your DCMS software products. Whether you have a single DCMS product or multiple, you can use this facility to view, update or delete existing keys and add new keys. Login to the Customer Center to download your free copy of KEYS. |
Need to inventory your mainframe components but having trouble finding which of your production library members are still in use? Archiving obsolete library components on your own can be a tedious and risky process. DCMS Library Asset Reporting System makes this easier. LARS uses SMF and other data sources to track which jobs, programs, copybooks, etc. are being used in your environment. Once LARS’s Inventory database has been created, you can use an online query or a batch utility to find which members are no longer in use. LARS requires DCMS/XREF and optionally uses DCMS/CCS. |
PM/RS is designed to coordinate and manage the entire problem
life cycle. It records, diagnoses, assigns, tracks, reports, and archives detailed
problem information. PM/RS enhances the problem management process in a way
that promotes timely resolution and increased customer/user satisfaction. |
RAS allows you to copy selected reports from the JES2 queue to longer-term storage on the RAS’s Report Storage file. Once saved into RAS in a highly compressed format, the reports can be purged from the JES2 spool, freeing valuable spool space. RAS’s online query allows users to view the saved reports with an intuitive TSO/ISPF dialog. The system’s report retention facility purges old reports based on specified criteria to keep the Report Storage file from growing continuously larger. |
TBOX is a collection of testing, development and operational power tools for the z/OS
environment. The Tool Box comes filled with specialized z/OS software routines and subroutines designed
to expedite and enhance Operations, software development and testing. Populate your toolbox with only the specific tools you need or keep them all.
All tools are provided free of charge. |
TDS is designed to securely generate safe test files from your production files while obscuring your customer's Payment Card (PCI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII), creating a sanitized version. |
The DCMS Cross Reference System is a self-maintaining information repository and query system that provides instantaneous access to comprehensive where-used information on all of your JCL and program components. The XREF Monitor keeps the system's database current by automatically updating the database whenever library member is modified that contains a Job, PROC, program or program component. XREF allows analysts to perform error free change impact analysis in seconds, rather than hours or days. XREF eliminates the need to perform long running and often inaccurate library scans. NEW! XREF now provides CICS component information from the RDO database. |
